I think I find it both a sad, and a joyful, thing, as it’s a reminder that they are the oldest generation in my family since all of our grandparents died, but also a sign of the connectedness of generations.

My hands don’t look like either of my parents’, and I don’t think they ever will, which I find a little sad.
